Black History Month Continues This Week with Read-a-Thon, Open Mic, and More
Events for Black History Month continue this week. Come to the University Libraries' third annual Black History Month Read-a-Thon tomorrow, Thursday, February 17, centering on inspiring Black leaders, innovators, authors, entertainers, scientists, and scholars. Or head to the Nyumburu Cultural Center for Juke Joint at 5 p.m. - 7 p.m., Thursday, February 17, an open mic event for students to showcase their talent in spoken word, dance, rapping, stepping, and more. Hear a speaker at a Black Terps Matter Experience event in the new MICA Cozy Corner. Celebrate and be in community.
