Graduation Checklist:
- Apply for graduation (Deadline is February 4, 2022)
- Meet all university requirements
- Settle your student account
- Update your address and email address on Testudo
- Check commencement.umd.edu for schedules and other helpful information for your guests
- "Like” University of Maryland Commencement on Facebook
- Purchase your regalia from the University Book Center
- Conduct an exit interview with the Office of Financial Aid
- Make arrangements for guests attending your graduation ceremonies

Regalia
Regalia is required. The University Book Center is the official supplier of commencement regalia for the university. The UBC will continue to provide regalia services up until commencement. Gown sizing and hood colors may be limited after April 29. Along with full regalia packages, the UBC will stock individual pieces, including the tassel, stole, and hood.
Graduates may also purchase regalia packages at the University Book Center’s Grad Fair on March 9 & 10 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Photos
Each graduate participating in the campus-wide commencement ceremony will receive color proofs by mail approximately two weeks after commencement. There is no obligation to purchase prints. For more information, contact GradImages at 800.628.4509 or visit www.gradimages.com
