Part-Time Research Opportunity (paid)

Part time paid research assistant position for a project on the neurocognitive mechanisms of sentence production in aging and stroke.

Seeking a part-time (10-20 hours per week, $15/hour) research assistant (RA) to work on a set of behavioral and neural (MEG) studies on language production in both typical participants and those with language impairments following stroke. The position will support a collaboration between the Aphasia Research Center and the Language and Music Cognition Lab at UMD, and is ideal for someone with a strong interest in how people produce and understand language and in how these processes can break down following brain damage.

Responsibilities will include assisting with experiment development and programming, participant recruitment, data collection, and potentially data analysis. Hours are flexible, but note that the position does require in-person work (following UMD protocols).

The position can start immediately and will continue through the summer, with the possibility of extending into the Fall semester.
