Distinguished Postbaccalaureate Scholars Program (DPSP)

This is a reminder that the Distinguished Postbaccalaureate Scholars Program (DPSP) application closes tomorrow, January 6.

If any students are going to apply and/or hasn't finished the application,
please reach out to us at angel.delacruzlandrau@nih.gov (Dr. Angel de la Cruz Landrau) or Lorraine Moore at lorrainem@intra.niddk.nih.gov for further guidance.

The DPSP is a full-time 1-2 year paid fellowship for recent college graduates* interested in advancing hands-on skills in biomedical research in basic research and diseases relevant to NIDDK's mission. The DPSP strongly encourages the participation of individuals with a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence, including those from underrepresented backgrounds in the biomedical sciences. As you may know, our students benefit from the opportunity to conduct research alongside NIH's intramural scientists and participate in various professional development activities to help students prepare for the next stages of their careers in the sciences.
