EDGE (Experience Diversity, Growth, & Excellence) overnight stay program.
Each Spring, the Office of Undergraduate Admission hosts admitted students from underrepresented populations on campus during EDGE. This successful overnight stay program helps to attract talented students to the University of Maryland by showcasing current students’ experiences and opportunities offered.
To be an EDGE Host students must be in good academic standing and must live in on campus housing and be able to host students overnight. Based on the availability of hosts we will have multiple training dates between February 20 - March 3 so that hosts can provide the best experience.
Applications should be submitted by Tuesday, February 21.
All hosts will be given a Terrapin Express Card of $25 as a thank you for their efforts!
