Camp Baker at The Baker Center for Children and Families (formerly known as Judge Baker Children’s Center) has an amazing summer clinical training opportunity for any undergraduate or graduate-level students interested in gaining clinical experience working with children with ADHD.
Summer trainees will receive extensive training and experience implementing a research-based intervention, as well as, gaining over 200 hours of direct clinical experience!
Camp Baker is a therapeutic summer program based off of the Summer Treatment Program (STP) model and is specifically designed for 6–12-year-old children with ADHD. The STP has positive effects on the serious behavioral, social, and academic difficulties exhibited by children diagnosed with ADHD.
Camp Baker is currently accepting applications for three roles:
1) Graduate Counselor
2) Undergraduate Counselor
3) Teaching Assistant.

All aspects of the training program are supervised by a licensed clinical psychologist. Trainees complete a week-long training prior to the start of treatment and receive ongoing supervision.
Training begins *Monday, July 3, 2023, with the July 4th holiday off*.
Camp Baker runs from *Tuesday, July 11th through Friday, August 18th, 2023.*
Trainees typically work from 7:30am until 4:30pm and stay from 7:30am-6pm one evening per week.
