Spring 2024 research assistant position in the Language
and Music Cognition Lab
Are you interested in learning more about how
we process language and music? Are you considering applying to graduate
school in some aspect of cognitive science/neuroscience? If so, consider
applying for a research assistant position in the Language and Music Cognition
Laboratory http://lmcl.umd.edu/ to
help with research projects investigating the cognition of language, music, and
bilingualism using behavioral and EEG paradigms. We ask for a nine hour per
week commitment and can offer credit in NEUR 379 or 479 each semester.
Responsibilities may include assisting with
experiment development and programming, participant recruitment, data
collection, coding, and potentially analysis. Aside from weekly lab meeting
times (still to be scheduled), hours are flexible.
