The Department of Biostatistics at the NYU School of Global Public Health will visit the UMD: College Park campus to host an information session on our degree and summer programs, Friday, September 20, to speak with students at Kirwan Hall, Room 3206, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM (flyer attached).
As a reminder, the NIA-funded summer program, PQAR, invites 12 undergraduate students to the NYU/NYC campus for six weeks during the summer. The program offers quantitative public health training in R, supervised group research, and insights into careers in public health. This opportunity is completely free, and students receive a $5,000 stipend.
I encourage you to share the following link and flyer with students to learn more: link here. Interested students may reach out to the program email alias at gph.pathways@nyu.edu.
