On Wednesday, September 25th from 4-6 PM, a representative of the University of Maryland Capital Region Health Volunteer Program (UM Capital) will be present (Symons Hall, room 2312) to assist students in signing up for hospital volunteering. UM Capital is a new, state of the art medical facility designed to meet the changing healthcare needs of Prince George's County residents.
Multiple volunteer opportunities are are available at locations throughout Prince George's County including:
- UM Capital Region Medical Center (Largo, MD)
- UM Bowie Health Center
- UM Laurel Health Center
- Outpatient practices in New Carrollton, Suitland, and the National Harbor
Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
