Paid part-time Research Assistant

 The Laboratory of Cognition and Emotion (http://www.lce.umd.edu/) at the University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a part-time Research Assistant position aiding members with a range of duties related to studying humans in both lab and MRI environments.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-       Lead and direct undergraduate research assistant work
-       Maintain IRB projects and enforce adherence to IRB protocols
-       Coordinate scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks
-       Schedule and recruit participants for ongoing research projects

-       Running and monitoring behavioral experiments without supervision.

-       Support lead RA during fMRI imaging scans at Maryland Neuroimaging Center (MNC)


This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, well-organized, and personable who is in their junior or senior year of college. Experience working in a psychology or neuroscience lab is a plus, but not a requirement for this position.

This position pays hourly and individuals should expect to work at least 10 hours per week and 2 years commitment.

Salary Range: $20-$23/hr.
