Join the University of Maryland College Park and Bowie State University for a partnership program in Costa Rica in honor of 1st Lt. Richard W. Collins III. Students in SPHL410: Social and Restorative Justice in the Community: Histories of Healing in Costa Rica will examine how restorative justice principles influence problem-solving, community policing, and conflict resolution in schools, neighborhoods, and rural territories. There are scholarships available through Education Abroad, and the course is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
