The Committee Process for students applying to Medical or Dental school in 2026
The Committee Process is structured, 1:1 support for students throughout their application year, and we have just opened it up for students applying in 2026.
To join the Committee Process, students must submit our Pre-Health Packet by February 16. The packet is similar to a mock application they work on to prepare before the real applications go live. Once they submit the packet, they'll get assigned an advisor who will work closely with them on their application.

We do have a cost associated with the packet($120), but we can waive or refund that for any student that indicates the cost would be an obstacle. They can email preprof@umd.edu to request a fee waiver.
