The UMD MEG lab has a part-time lab manager opening beginning in mid-November.
The lab serves multiple departments and is co-directed by Ellen Lau (Linguistics) and Jonathan Simon (Electrical & Computer Engineering and Biology). The lab manager will be trained as an expert MEG user and will assist with scans, guide other users, coordinate resources, and manage the smooth daily operation of the lab, which has concurrent eyetracking and EEG recording capabilities as well. Previous lab experience preferred. Prior experience with MEG or EEG not required.
The position is hourly with competitive pay (at least 20 hours per week, $25/hour, no benefits), with possibility to transition into a regular position in January.
