The event will feature a keynote lecture, lightning talk competition (with prizes!), poster session, networking opportunities, and light refreshments!

Our lightning talk competition has been a popular part of our annual meeting – participants are given 3 mins to explain their research! Points are awarded for timing, effective and concise communication, as well as balancing accuracy with creativity. Certificates and cash/gift cards are awarded to the winners.
If you are interested in participating in the lightning talk competition and/or the poster session, please submit your abstract by our extended deadline of Wednesday, Dec 10 at 11:59pm ET. Feel free to reuse your poster or talk from earlier conferences this year or something new! Given the interdisciplinary nature of neuroscience (inclusive of developmental, molecular, cellular, systems, behavioral, computational, etc.), we are also encouraging submissions from research on related areas such as:
- Psychology and Cognitive Science
- Molecular & Cellular Biology
- Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, and Genomics
- Neural Recording, Imaging, and Sensor Technologies
- Biomedical Engineering/ Neuro Engineering and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences
- Neuroeconomics
- Neuropolicy, Neurolaw, Neuroart and other Neuro X endeavors
