The Minor in Global Engineering Leadership (MGEL) is a 16-credit program designed to develop the skills necessary to lead with a global vision, work effectively with others to address social issues, and engineer solutions that improve communities and organizations. 


Through completing the Minor in Global Engineering Leadership, you will:

  • Build durable skills that make you competitive for jobs and internships,

  • Complete General Education requirements,

  • Have opportunities to study abroad in destinations like Australia and Taiwan, and

  • Directly network with Minor alumni working in your field.


Many MGEL course requirements can also double-count towards your major's degree progress. For more details and individualized support, talk to your academic advisor.
