Research Assistant Position for Native Spanish Speaker!
Description:
Are you interested in learning more about how bilinguals understand language? Are you a native Spanish speaker who also speaks English? Are you considering applying to graduate school (especially in psychology, cognitive science, or cognitive neuroscience)? If so, consider applying for a research assistant position in the Language and Music Cognition Lab to help out with studies on bilingualism and language processing. We ask for a nine hour per week, two semester commitment, and offer 3 credits in PSYC 479 each semester. Applicants should have at least a 3.0 GPA. Previous research experience would be useful but is not required.
Responsibilities:
9 hour per week commitment
Collecting and coding data
Assist in creating study stimuli
Attending lab meetings
Opportunity to work with EEG and/or eye-tracking equipment based on interest/skill
Qualifications:
3.0+ GPA
Native Spanish speaker
Detail oriented
Highly motivated
