LGBT 200 Intro to LGBTQ+ Studies Stonewall and Beyond is a fully online course for Fall 2025. The class offers a chance to uncover histories of queer joy, cultural rebellion, social change, and evolutions of identity. It fulfills DSHS and DVUP gen ed requirements.
We also have more seats available in WGSS 250 WGSS: Art and Culture which fulfills DSHU and DVUP gen ed requirements. This foundational course in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies explores the ways in which art and art activism have served as a conduit for our understanding and challenging systems of inequity. Students build media literacy and cultural analysis skills through the exploration of arts and activism. We know that not having the instructor listed on some sections might be a deterrent for some students, but I hope they will take a chance and explore something new.
