Hi Terps! The AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) has updated their Core Competencies. These are soft skills that medical schools expect you to show evidence of by the time you apply (dental, PA, and other health professions programs also highly value and look for these competencies).
Please note the changes: they have removed "Cultural Awareness" and "Cultural Humility" and added "Self-Awareness" and "Understanding Others."
